We understand that there are a lot of changes going on in the real estate industry concerning commissions. Be assured that the commission rate specified for each plan is the total commission you will pay. Any agreement to pay a Buyer's Broker, if applicable, will be between the brokerages and will not change your chosen commission rate. As and if authorized by the Seller, we will pay 0%-2% commission to the Buyer's Broker.
In a negotiation to purchase your home, a Buyer may ask for a "Seller's Credit" for closing cost assistance. A Buyer may use that closing cost savings to offset fees owed to their Broker. We have no control over that Buyer request or how they ultimately use those saved funds. A Seller may always accept or refuse this Buyer request as part of the negotiation. Regardless, the commission due under the selected plan will not change.
BROKER COMMISSIONS ARE NEVER SET BY LAW AND ARE ALWAYS NEGOTIABLE. THERE IS NO CUSTOMARY OR INDUSTRY STANDARD REAL ESTATE BROKER FEE OR COMPENSATION.
